- Who should take this workshop?
Anyone wanting to make friends in other countries overseas and
anyone wanting to develop leadership skills may want to take the workshop. Also,
it’s good to add to a resume, job or university application!
- How old do I have to be to take the workshop?
You should be between the ages of 12 and 20 to take the workshop.
- What if I don’t speak English so well?
You need at least a basic reading and writing knowledge of
English to be successful with the workshops. If your English isn’t perfect, that’s
not a problem.
- Do I need a computer to take the workshop?
Yes, you need a computer with Internet access, and you need to
use an email program.
- What if I get behind? Can I email the activities late?
If you get behind, you can email the workshop activities up to one
week late. After that you’ll be dropped from the workshop.
- Do I get a grade?
You get a “complete” or “incomplete” grade. You will “pass” the
workshop as long as you email the completed activities within the time allowed.
- Do I get a certificate of completion?
When you finish you get a certificate emailed to you with your name,
the name of the workshop, and the date you finished. If you print it out in color you can
frame it or add it to your academic portfolio!
- Can I still email my mentor once the workshop is over?
You can email your mentor at any time with questions or for advice.
- What do I say on my resume or job/university application about the workshop?
Here’s a sample of what you can put on a resume or application:

The workshop is free of charge.
